A few things that stuck out to me:
-Lewis was unstoppable. If he wasn't the one hitting the shot, he was the one making the right pass, or creating the offense allowing others to clean up.
-Dee Brown and him should have made such a dynamic duo. It never happened for obvious reasons (Lewis' death) and for some reason Dee Brown never really figuring it out. It's too bad, Dee Brown was another one of my favorites, and as a little kid it was the most amazing thing to me that he won the slam dunk competition. My brother and I used to look forward to the slam dunk competition as much as anything in basketball every year. We would tape the contests and watch them over and over again. Dee showed so many flashes, but ultimately never put the whole package together.
-Dee Brown, Rick Fox, Kevin Gamble, Xavier McDaniels, Chris Ford. These used to be common household names in my family. So awesome to see them again.
-My first pair of basketball sneakers were a pair of Xavier McDaniels.
-The commercials were just as awesome as the game. Its amazing how advertising has developed. Also, Jordan's shirt in that McDonalds commercial is hilarious.
-I forgot the Magic tried his hand at announcing. I liked him as a personality, although it seemed like he couldn't get his thoughts out completely or fast enough.
Man, you are gonna rack up the TP's if you keep doing this stuff. Here's one more from me for the welcoming flow of memories you just gave me.
