Is it true that since we have the bird rights on Davis, we don't have to use the MLE to sign him?
Yes, we have early bird rights so we can match. Also since he is a 2nd round pick in his second year he may only be offered an MLE deal to start with.

BBD doesn't have bird rights, he's only played for two years.

BBD doesn't have bird rights, he's only played for two years.
He has early bird rights so we can either give him 175% of his current salary or up to the MLE due to a provision of the collective bargaining agreement put in after Golden State lost Gilbert Arenas.

Yes, that's true.

Also, I'd be pretty happy with McDyess and Hill, so long as we added additional big man and guard depth.
