Hahah it's really funny how this worked out...so the Rockets and the Lakers basically swapped Ariza and Artest.

Lakers definitely came out ahead on that one...now the question is - will they resign Odom?

Rockets need to use that Mcgrady expiring contract to reload again. Or they can just wait & pray Lebron James moves to Houston in 2010.

  • Thank you Eddie!
The only way this offseason could get better for us is Sheed signing here and BBD and Powe come back.  The Cavs are basically the same team they were last year, while Orlando made a dumb trade for Vince Carter and lost Gortat and probably Turkoglu too.

Don't laugh.  We didn't get Sheed yet.

great! yet another potentially good player signs with a club that is going nowhere instead of a celtics rival such as cleveland, la, orlando, or SA.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Cavs could still get Marion (he and Lebron could switch between 3 and 4)...I think this particularly messes up Orlando, especially if we get Sheed.

They'll resign Odom. I think the Lakers should have kept Ariza, he's a much better fit than Artest.

  • No contaban con mi astucia !!!
tp for the one who said rich get ritcher

I am thinking ariza  and maybe odom arer leaving LZ
it tooks them like 3 years to develop come kind of chemistry and now
theyre killing it

If we manage to sign sheed and someone like oberto with swift as 3rd string
without loads of bbd
with some king of 3 like parker or marion in a miracle
we will be indeed a miracle in the making

I guarantee that the Cavs go hard after Marion with the MLE .

I don't think he'll take it. He couldn't handle being the highest paid, but third highest profile player on the 60 win Suns teams. Is he really going to take a huge pay cut to play in LeBron's shadow?
