I still think they have a shot at Hill. I would think he wants a ring, and he's got a good rep with Doc.

Probably JR Giddens that dude got game. Have you seen him in 2k10, he is unguardable. I heard he could bring his baby brothers, I think their name are Bill Walker and Gabe Pruitt. Unstoppable trio!

I love Barnes. He is under 30, can hit the 3, and has a high motor.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
Dahntay Jones or Barnes, regardless of who the fa wing we sign is I hope Giddens and Walker push that guy for playing time.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Chris Mannix said tonight on New England Sports Tonight that he thought Grant Hill would be a Celtic.

I would be surprised if we land Hill, but maybe the desire for a ring and chance to play with our lineup means more at this stage of his career than the money.

I would still prefer a younger guy at this spot and would really like to see a sign and trade after we acquire Sheed.

BBD and filler for Outlaw or Rudy Fernandez.

He might not want to play for a non-contender at this point of his career.

Assuming we use the full MLE on 'Sheed, here's some possible Vet min/LLE options at the wing, along with their salary (in millions) last year and what they are known for:

Walter Hermann (Offense) 2.0
Dahntay Jones (Defense) .8
Quinton Ross (Defense) .8
Matt Barnes (Offense, Toughness) .8
Keith Bogans (Defense, 3's)) 2.6
Rodney Carney (Defense, 3's) 1.7 (rookie scale)
Des Mason (Defense) 5.3
Kareem Rush (3's, Defense) .8
Rashad McCants (Offense) 2.6 (rookie scale)
Anthony Parker (Defense, Shooting, but old) 5.6
Ime Udoka (Defense, 3's) 1.1
