he said that the artest to cleveland is an overrated story and if he leave houston (which he doesnt think he will) he goes to LA.

as for sheed...said the spurs are going hard after gortat with there MLE and havent been aggressive with him. said sheed is NOT the spurs first choice. said boston is on sheed hard with everything they have and think he will end up in boston...

He said Ariza more likely to Cavs than Artest. If Houston doesn't make a big offer for Artest, he will choose LA over Cleveland.

Gortat likely headed to Dallas for the MLE.

boston needs to lock sheed up pronto and get to work on the other targets. i like the fact that orlando is losing 2 key guys to other teams....

Looks like Mavs have signed Gortat to an offer sheet, so Spurs are out of the running on him.  Hope they have a plan B other than Sheed.

yea but I think they might be signing Bradon Bass who is a very good role player on a contending team.

Me likey.  However, this is only Broussard's opinion right?  And an opinion is still an opinion.

Ya that was great the hole 10 seconds they spent on the Celtics. Good thing I caught that but did you hear the ancor say this about the Cavs. They might not be the team to beat with Shaq but what other player will make them the team to beat Ariza or Artest. PUKE. They have backed off there Sheed in the guy statements ever since Boston became the front runner for him. I know I have said this before in other post but seriouly how much on the Cavs C#@k sucking do we have to take.

wow, artest with the lakers makes them a much better team than having ariza or odom, IMHO. think about how we've torched them with pierce in the past because they've had no solid defender at SF. if this happens, the subplot of Artest vs Pierce is much more interesting than it ever was when he was with the Pacers.

i would gladly trade bass and carter to not have to face hedo and gortat....i think orlando will be in a dogfight with miami and washington in that division....i only worry about the spurs getting sheed

Has Broussard been reliable recently? Because I know him only for claiming that Cavs are so much better with Shaq, that they are going to sign the whole free agency with the MLE, etc, etc.

Still it sounds good, especially if San Antonio didn't pursue Sheed, but maybe they woul change their plan if Gortat signs with Dallas.

His whole point was that all of the teams talking to Sheed can only offer him the MLE.

So it isn't going to come down to money.
