What position should we use the big money on?

The question we all have been asking.  For me it depends on who the player is at the position and our needs.  Given Garnett's injury, Perk shoulder issues, BBDs potential departure, and not resigning Powe at this point we need someone like Sheed to fill the PF/C spot.  However, since Artest is available I am torn because he's much younger and someone I'd like on our team for the future.  There are more SFs out there in this UFA class, but letting Artest go to Cleveland or LA kills our chances at another title.  Then again if we take Artest I can see Cleveland getting Sheed so either way it's a tough call.

Eh, I think the most important thing is getting the best player. Most people would vote PF/C if all things were equal, but for example I think Artest would be a better 6th man than Sheed.

That's what I was about to say. I don't know if Artest is very fond of the Celtics though.

Artest isn't that good anymore. His defense is good as a whole, but can become wildly undisciplined. Meanwhile his offense is a disaster of poor shots and bad decision making.
