The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Great trade for the Clips imo. Chris Wallace strikes again.

To the op,

I dont see how this is terrible for the Clippers at all. They free up Randolph's contract and get an expiring wing man that isn't really that bad. The Clips could push for a playoff spot this year, and Q Rich fills their gaping hole at the backup 2/3.

Is Randolph the only 20/10 player in history that teams don't want?

Perfect player to bring around Mayo, lol.

If the Clippers are able to get rid of Randolph and that contract, then its a good deal for them.

Talk to Danny when he took over. He'd say that Tione was close.

Well, it should allow Griffin to take the starting spot previously occupied by Randolph. Interesting trade for both teams I think though I can't stand Q nor Randolph. ::)

I don't mind. Then again we went to the same college. I think the Clips have a chance to be decent this yr. A lot depends on Baron though.

Baron
Gordon
Thornton
Griffin
Camby

Q as the back-up wing. Kaman as the back up big. i must be forgetting some people... They have that tall guard they got from the Knicks and the big from the draft Danny passed on, Jordan. Seen worse teams before.

Yeah they have a decent team, maybe better than last year. We know they have the talent but they don't get the results. And they lack a good backup for Gordon, other than that I know they have Mardy Collins as a backup point guard and they could re-sign Brian Skinner (ahem...) for cheap if Deandre Jordan isn't enough.

Yeah Mardy Collins was the name. I was having a Johnny Most moment and just wanted to describe players like "the tall lefty" or the "bearded center." Remember that game versus Russia?

Would have loved to listen to a game called by Most and Tommy

If I have this right, Memphis ends up with:

Gasol
Randolph
Gay
Mayo
Conley

Plus some decent young bench players.  Randolph puts up his numbers for a couple of years and then become expiring trade bait and by then the young players are actually ready to compete.  Doesn't this end up being Darko for Randolph?  There is plenty of reason to get on Chris Wallace but not for this one.
