According to RealGM, LeBron is doing his best to convince Artest to sign with the Cavs.

Is this part of the 'Lebron plays PF' plan?

Remember when the Cavs drafted him they thought he was a pg?  Then he plays 6 years in the league as a wing who primarly handles the ball, and now he is suppose to go play PF?  I don't get it...

that would be a good move. artest can defend the 2 guards of the league anymore but he can defend the post well and he can power his way to the hoop. he is a streaky shooter with bad shot selection though. all told, this would really improve the cavaliers and i expect he would play the 4 position correct?

Artest would trump our move of howard so I hope they don't sign him. Also Artest would play the 3 & Lebron the 2 & they would retain Verajao or sign Joe smith again to play 4.
