while i will miss Powe,, we need to realize professional sports is a business, even if pruitt and JR sit as our last 2 spots and dont get in, leon's spot gives us one more spot to take a chance on someone who may help us.
if leon could help us, of course theyd keep him. I guess c's fans are a lot different than sox fans, who are ready to get rid of guys that one us the Ship so quickly. How many fans could not wait to get rid of Foulke, Embree, Bellhorn, and Timlin (to an extent). Would we rather the C's wait on Leon and have him struggle to play late next season, taking up a spot, until the fans turn on him?
