Basically said that Ainge is hoping that KG's close relationship with Sheed will convince him to sign here.  Also said that Ainge had some interesting things to say about BBD on tonight's interview.

Ya here is what Danny said about Glen.I posted this in another thread but it works here to.

Ainge "Hopeful" on Baby Return
Glen Davis is just dipping his feet into the free agent pool to see how the water feels, and while he wasn't in Waltham to talk about his future, Ainge characterized his discussions with Davis' representation as "positive", although he noted that official negotiations haven't begun.

"Glen will be out there testing the market and seeing what the market dictates," Ainge said. "There may be a team that gives him something that he's excited about today or tomorrow. But we're hopeful that he'll be a part of our team this year."

That's exactly how Danny needs to play the negotiations with Davis.  If he gets an offer for more than $6M I say bye BBD and best of luck.

I like him a lot but he is not worth MLE money yet.

Basically if the market on PF's dries up after Millsap, Lee, Sheed, Bass, Dice, etc sign and BBD doesn't have a sweet offer, the Celtics will try to sign him for less money.

its not really 15 minutes of fame... he's on the only good local sports tv show every night. Sportsdesk only talks about the Red Sox.
