A power forward that has trouble pulling down more than 6 rebounds a game even though he's 6'11" and 240 lbs?!?!

For a guy that big that hardly ever plays in the paint and who's rebounding numbers aren't that great, I'd call him a SF in the mold of Rashard Lewis. At least that's his game even if it's not where he will be positioned on a box score.

He's a horrible low post defender and fights against posting up and relies too much on a three point shot that isn't that good. He sounds to me like a taller long more athletic version of Antoine Walker and even though he was listed as a PF we all know he didn't play that position.

I hope Detroit over pays and signs both of them. That way they can play for a .500 team and not a real EC contender.

Villanueva pulled down 6.7 rebounds in 27 minutes of playing time. That's good. His rebounding rate was 14.7% which was about average for a power forward. He's a solid rebounder for a power forward.

As for his defense, position barely matters, he's a gawd-awful defender all over the court. Frighteningly, his best defense is at the four spot.
