And the difference between the two mentalities.

"They get first dibs,'' Marbury said of the Celtics. "They did something for me, showed the NBA they won a championship and still brought someone in who was supposed to destructive to the locker room.''

"With Kevin coming back, the chances are the same,'' Marbury said. "If Kevin would've been there, the outcome would've been different. Not taking anything away from the Lakers. They're a great team as well.''

"Mentally, what I had to deal with, the process with D'Antoni, the president (Donnie Walsh), it was mindboggling,'' Marbury said. "Two people can't make a decision and they have to go above them to Mr. Dolan.

Mentally I was damaged and didn't even realize it.

"Going back next year, I'll be free. When you're weathering the storm, you're not thinking how bad the storm is. You're just holding on, trying to get through the finish.''

I really thought that Marbury was a great asset to the team last year. Sure, he struggled with his shot but he's not very old and is more than capable of being a key contributor on the second unit. Hopefully, he will be back next year backing up Rondo.
Carl: And, technically, he's supposed to be spayed, and uh, he ain't that. I know that first hand. Go ahead, ask me how I know. Go ahead. Ask me. Ask me how I know.

One year ago, I never would have thought I would be saying this but I want Marbury on the Celtics next year, especially if it only costs $2M'ish.

I think we'll see some of the real Starbury next year, he seems to have realized what its all about, and wants a championship.  & his chemistry w/ KG should really get help get what we saw from him to another level.

Me 3.  He proved me wrong about his acquisition.  Bring him back to backup Rondo at reasonably low price.

Rondo/Starbury
Allen/House/Hudson/Giddens
Peirce/Walker FA?
KG/BBD
Perkins/Wallace

That roster is sick.
Little Fockers 1.5/10
Gulliver's Travels 1/10
Grown Ups -20/10
Tron Legacy 6.5/10

i may be believing the hype, but he also seems to have a sense of loyalty to the c's, kinda rare. he certainly does not seem to be demanding a starting spot, or top dollar. he seems to want to be here.
