If you were Danny, what would you do?

1) I would sign Rasheed for the full MLE
2) I would trade Rondo and Baby (S&T) and future first for Conley and Gay and Thabeet
3) I would trade Ray Allen and scal for Baron Davis and either Kaman or Camby
4) Sign Hill to the veterans minimim

Line-up

Baron Davis     Conley    Hudson
Gay             House     Giddens   Pruitt
Pierce          Hill      Walker
Garnett         Wallace   Powe
Perk            Kaman or Camby  thabeet

okay .. I can dream, can't I ...

Excellent way to not win another championship.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
I don't think Memphis would go for that deal, though.

Also, I would prefer to keep our starting lineup intact.

I wouldn't trade anybody at this moment.  I'd wait to see what all our expiring deals could get us at the deadline.

I would however put on the full court press on for Artest and see if I could somehow land him.  If not him, then Sheed.

More realistically, I would go after Sheed and Barnes.

To add to this point, I would say that this is a fun thing to do on NBA Live or for a fantasy team.

Much more simpler.

1) Sign Wallace for the MLE

2) Sign Hill for the LLE (when he decides that Phoenix next year is rebuilding to much for his taste)

3) Resign Davis for around 2.5-3 million after teams that might have made him an offer get Lee and Milsap instead.

Say goodbye to Pruitt.

That sounds like a better offseason to me.  I like going into the season with

Rondo   marbury
ray     House Giddens TA
PP     Hill Walker
KG     BBD
Perk     Sheed

Doc/Scal never getting off the bench.

I think that gives us a really good chance to put together something special.  Not to mention, it leaves you the flexability to trade those contracts for anything that pops up throughout the season.  I love this situation.
