On Marbury:

"Ainge also said last night that the Celtics ``would not hesitate'' to bring back Marbury as a backup point guard to Rajon Rondo if a deal can be struck."

``We like Steph. We like what he brought to the table last year. We would not hesitate to bring Steph back.''

On House:

``I didn't know what to expect with that,'' Ainge said last night. ``I felt Eddie had a good year with us. But he had some other options, I'm guessing. We are happy he decided to stay with us.''

``He plays better when he has a ball-handler out there with him,'' Ainge concluded. ``It doesn't always have to be another point guard. He has played very well with us with Paul (Pierce) bringing the ball up. But he is a shooter."

Mentions they will re-evalute signing Power in a month to see how his rehab is doing.

It seems that Marbury is definitely coming back, since he wants to re-sign with Boston and that Ainge and Doc want him back. I think he will sign for the veteran minimum. Good news!

The Marbury/House duo will be a pleasure to watch next year. And I hope Powe's rehab allows him to come back earlier than expected but it's unlikely.

if marbury can provide consistency and scoring off the bench while being a positive personality on the celtics, then it would be a major coup for the team.

a proven scorerer and passer off the bench would help the celtics immensely.....if all the above pan out.

so far, the celtics bench MIGHT look like this...

pg - marbury
sg - house
pf - davis
pf/c - wallace

pretty good bench if wallace signs with the celtics. that would really leave a sf as the only major priority.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
