1)Lamar Odom is on the Celtics wish list( or spears wish list, didn't really make it clear). Spears would pick him over Wallace.

2) Thinks Starbury will get 2-3 MIL if he resigns with the Celtics

3) Said Jason Kidd is not going to the Celtics.

What's the status on Marbury with the C's?  If they were to offer him the 2-3 million that Spears suggests, would that have to come out of the MLE or LLE?  Or do they have some sort of minimal rights on him?  It's even too early for Early Bird rights, correct?

I wouldn't mind Marbury back, but certainly not at the cost of us losing out on using the whole MLE and LLE.  It isn't worth 2-3 million dollars to sign a guy who will be backing up a guy who is going to play close to 40 mpg, especially when House is back on the payroll too.  While I don't love House at the 1, we can get by with him there for 10 mpg much better than we can get by with who we have backing up the other 4 positions.

I assuming Marbury would be an LLE signing according to Spears.

I don't see us getting Odom for MLE money though...

I think the LLE is worth 1.8 MIL ,so thats probably the most the Celtics would offer him ...

Had posted this in another thread but its more appropriate here.  Some names he mentioned on the "list" were Sheed, Lamar Odom, Zaza Pachulia, Antonio Daniels, Jamario Moon, Grant Hill.

I believe we can just give him a raise from his salary last year which is around 2 million and we won't have to use an exception.

I believe Roy broke it down in another thread (or front page, don't remember): Marbury could be offered up to 125% of last year's salary (which was $1.2 mil, according to ShamSports) without having to dip into exception money.

That would be a salary of $1.5 mil for next season.

Marbury ought to pay the Celtics for the privilege of playing here.  He shouldn't cost the franchise a dime, particularly after last year's abysmal performance.

How much does Rondo owe them for losing game 7?

Don't worry, unless we are offering Odom more money than the Lakers he isn't coming here. Do you think he would willingly go from the starting lineup to the bench for less money?

Odom didn't start much this year either (32 games out of 78) - only reason he got some starts is because Bynum got hurt in the regular season and stunk on ice in the playoffs.
