Didn't see this anywhere so I figured I'd put it up.

Villanueva seems like one of those players a lot of GMs like but hasn't really realized his potential yet. Should we pursue him with the MLE?  I'd say no, he'd be a good backup big but would probably take up too much of our exceptions relative to our more pressing needs.

I like that decision from Milwaukee. I was hoping they'd bring back Ilyasova instead of re-signing Charlie V.

Detroit will probably be after him if they can't get Boozer.

Charlie V is likely out of our price range.

There is no way we would be able to snag him.

I love Charlie, I would love to see us pick him. He is a player we could use and I do not see him having A problem coming off the bench for this team, if we did have him he would be a legit back up for KG and KG would be able to rest. I also think with the likes off Cliff Ray around his game would also improve!! Charlie would live to be back in the New England area and UConn fans would love to have him.

We can't afford him.

Wyc did say he willing to write the check for the right players, is Charlie that guy? I dunno, I am sure there is better option at that money.

Can they still do a sign and trade if they decide to not extend a qualifying offer?  Maybe get him and Redd for Ray?  ....If Redd seems to be healthy.  Maybe the Bucks will get Lebron after Ray would expire :)

I think it says something about Charlie V that the Bucks wouldn't even tender an offer (since they now can't sign him for a while i think).

Guess they're rolling the dice with Amir Johnson at PF? Keeping Kurt Thomas?

It says that the bucks are low on cash and not looking to win right now

He is going to CLE. He will sign an offer sheet on July 1st.

At least that is what I am reading on MIL and CLE boards on the net...

charlie v is a real good sf with height. He can play some pf also.

He can shoot the three and can give you 20 point per game if you wanted him to.

He will take full max and maybe more to be signed. Someone might give him 10 million but if not we have as much a chance to sign him at MLE than anyone else in the league

If he does go to Cleveland that will...suck.

Mo
Delonte
LeBron
Villa
Shaq

I'm not excited about facing that team.

I'd give Villanueva the full MLE but only after making sure Baby is resigned and we sign a center as well. We need bigs and Charlie is more in the mold of a taller Posey without the defense.
