What about offering him the MLE to be our 6th man?   Atlanta has the most cap space and probably offer him more money than that, but he'd be a great pickup.

Agreed.  Very long backup SF, who has improved his outside shooting each year in the league.

Never mind.  Didn't realize he was a restricted FA.

As long as Atlanta does not lose Marvin Williams, I think they'll have no interest matching offers for Josh Childress.

welllllll.....maybe not. here is where the celticsblog posters can finally make a difference and help the celtics.

does anyone out there in celticsblog-land have any compromising pictures of the atlanta owner or GM?

once we got a few pix, i think williams wont be getting any MLE offers.  ;D

(dang!!! is blackmail against celticsblog rules????? i hope not!)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Atlanta can't afford to keep both Williams and Childress, can they?

Atlanta has to pay ZaZa Pachulia and Marvin Williams, plus they are in desperate need for big men. I doubt they would match the full MLE. If they were smart, they would do a sign and trade for a big man. If the C's think Powe will be 100% sometime next year, I'd think a sign and trade with Big Baby and Childress seems fair. :-\
