My point is that Cleveland will be able to acquire better free agents than we will because players will believe that they have a better chance to win a title in cleveland than in Boston.

Why?   Boston won last year.  Cleveland has never won.

And who did we get last year for FA's? Mikky Moore was HUGE for us. Absolutely.

You honestly think we can get better players to play on the cheap than Lebron and Shaq can? Or Orlando and San Antonio where there is better weather and no state income tax, saving a guy a ton of money? Tell me why.Please. I seriously want to believe that we can win it next year but I am worried about our age and razor thin bench. It just does not seem like we have the money to get it done. Nor do we have players or contracts to do it either.

With a team that believes in sharing?  That believes in team first?

Celtics is still a prime location for vets wanting a ring.

"Sharing" are you living in 2009? That is what brings guys to Boston? So they turn down Lebron, lower taxes, better weather for "Sharing"? You watch to much Barney or teletubbies or something. Where do you live? I will drive over, we can hold hands and sing "Kumbaya" with you.

Better weather in Cleveland.

Ok.

Go sign a multi year contract with a team where the top player wants to leave next year, 2nd best player is 38 and in the last year on his contract.

Year 2, you and the three undersized SGs.  Can't wait.

Lebron may or may not leave. Either way, you win a title. I was talking about the weather in Texas and Florida. Not Cleveland obiviously.

Why would they win a title?

Other teams are improving.  Other teams are getting healthy.

Why is Cleveland suddenly the favorite?  They seem to have the most holes still.  PF.  SG with size.

Did you happen to notice that Shaq averaged 18 and 8 last year?

Did you happen to notice that Shaq can't run the floor against the fast break? Maybe the Celtics could use that to their advantage  :o
