Well the rumor is Biedrens and the #7, so Biedrens would be on the Suns. That would be a great fir for Amare, he still wouldnt have to try on defense and can just get his numbers.

Biedrins would be going back to Phoenix, right?

Well Biedrins would be gone. Now if GS can trade Maggette back to the Clippers for Baron Davis they might have something.

Great trade for the Warriors if they can get that done.

Terrible trade for Phoenix.

Maybe not so bad if they are trying to create cap space and also move towards being less of a run-gun team and more defensive.  Biedrins is a good center who has not been able to shine that much in GS because Nelson likes to play small ball.

There's something missing here, the salaries don't match up.

Yeah, I don't see a realistic way it can get done. GState's big contracts are all long term, and not what Phoenix wants in return.

Article just says a package that includes Biedrins and the #7.  Could also include Maggette, or a combination of smaller pieces (Azubuike, Brendan Wright, etc.)

Biedrins and Turiaf works.
Bierdrins, Azubuike, and Belinelli works.

I wouldn't think Phoenix is looking to take on future salary though.

Meh ... as bad a defender as Amare is, he's still better defensively than Biedrins.

Cap space has no use if you can't get a player better than the guy you're giving up. Phoenix shouldn't dump Amare.

I really like what the Dubs are doing here.  Drafting Curry could be the deal breaker.

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60086/20090625/drafting_curry_could_lock_amare_deal_with_phoenix/#

Amare
Randolph
Cpt Jack
Monte Ellis

And a pair of solid pg's in Speedy Claxton and Acie Law.

I'd say if this goes down, Golden St has to be considered one of the big winners in this draft.

Yeah, let's see:

Stephen Curry
Monta Ellis
Stephen Jackson
Anthony Randolph
Amare Stoudemire

Backups:
Maggette
Turiaf
Watson
Morrow
Azubuike

I'd say that could definitely be a playoff team.  Don Nelson would have a field day with that lineup.

Not going to have a problem scoring points. Just going to have to stop the other team from scoring more
