What Could The Celtics Get Back For BBD, Scal,TA + Giddens ?

I am just thinking if we sign BBD for about 4 MIL a year, what kind of value could we get back for a package of BBD, TA, SCAL + Giddens? Thats about 10 MIL is salary, and about 6 MIL in expiring contracts.

The only guy I can think of right now is Tyson Chandler......

Anyone else who could be had for that package?

You can't trade someone not under contract. And I dont think you can just sign a guy and trade him unless it's part of some kind of S+T deal, which will not happen with BBD.

the poster above is correct.

but in answer to your question...probably not a heck of alot.

why would another team take on 4 players, none of whom would start on a good team and all of whom have some fundamental flaw?

if you are a bad team, the group mentioned above wont turn your team around.

if you are a good team, your bench is probably good enough to NOT need all four of these players. bb? maybe for the right team. TA? maybe for the right team. scal and giddens? fewer teams would give up anything for them

i dont think many teams would give much of value since they are not getting much value back.

Can I get someone to explain how a sign and trade can work with BBD? If we do a sign and trade with him can he be signed to any amount that the other team wants? Can we sign him to a one year deal?

We're not going to get anything for those guys.  We MIGHT get something...an okay bench guy perhaps...around the trade deadline for TA+Scal since they have expiring contracts.  Giddens is worthless, and BBD will either sign somewhere else, or sign here and stay here.
