I'm not wild about the Tyson Chandler fit, I think the Cavs would need to bring in a jump shooting solid scoring power forward in order to make it work. But if they got that, they'd be incredible.

I think the Cavs need a jump shooting big man to space the floor for LeBron.

You mean like Joe Smith?
I'd like someone who can play more minutes than Joe Smith, and will score 15+ points.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I think Shaq is more of a threat than Chandler. Chandler is basically a taller Kenyon Martin. He's not going to create for himself, or be a real issue for defenses. Chandler is a nice player, but for the now you go with Shaq if your Cleveland.

At this point in time, Perks will have no problems containing Shaq. It's 2009, Shaq is passed his prime and will be like Moses during the twilight of his career or Hakeem, after he'd arrived in Toronto for that go nowhere last hurrah with Carter.

Isn't Chandler missing his big toe?  ;)
I would rather have Chandler as a satyr than Shaq at this point in his career.

We have a beast already and his name is Perk.  Now let's bring in a mythical creature like Chandler and we're looking good up front.

Big Baby?
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I'd pass on BBD. I don't think he's good enough to be a starter -- His rebounding is a problem, and I thought his defense dropped in a big way while playing the power forward position instead of his usual backup center role.

I think he would be a nice complimentary player for a duo of Shaq and LeBron. Jumper, passing skills, hustle...Rebounds are for Shaq and Bron. But yeah, the defense might be a problem here.
