I think if we do the Conley/Gay/#2 trade we shouldn't draft Rubio. We will bring in a vet like Miller or Kidd to play the point and have Conley as our future. It doesn't really make sense to have 20 year old and 18 year old point guards on the same team, especially a championship caliber. We could take the second pick move down, grab Steph Curry to back up Ray. We would then have a bench of Conley/Curry/Gay/BBD/Free Agent Center. Gay could play some 2/3 and 4 curry could play 1 and 2 which would lessen the minutes of Pierce and Ray.

I don't think Memphis would give up the #2 and Gay. They might give up the #2 and Conley. We could maybe swing Conley to Portland for Outlaw and Blake (if the Hinrich to Portland rumor is true).

Definetly dont think the Griz make that trade either. Also, how would the Celts have enough money to sign Miller/Kidd And BBD? I just cant picture Rubio barking out orders to KG...

On the other hand, the Celtics would never trade Rondo for just the #2 and Conley (or the #2, outlaw, and blake, in this case).

If you're going to draft Rubio that high, whats the sense of wasting two years of his contract on the bench? Then youve got yourself another Rondo situation where he starts to come into his own right as his contract ends, then we are back where we started. It's just not the right situation for him to be on this team really.

Rubio's 10/6 stats equate to about 3/2 in the NBA.

I hope his agent doesn't think Boston isn't a good enough town for his client.

His agent is a d-eewsh

Rondo mans up against the best pg's in the league and rarely gets out played.  Rubio goes against soft euro's on the regular and gives you 10/6? kid seems weak to me, needs to get some meat on his soft euro self
