The Bobcats decided not to give him a qualifying offer and thus he is an unrestricted free agent.

I haven't seen much of him since his NC days.  Could he be a decent cheap big man coming of the bench?

No. He's usually out of shape and an injury waiting to happen.

No thanks. We don't need an Oliver Miller Part II on the team.
Carl: And, technically, he's supposed to be spayed, and uh, he ain't that. I know that first hand. Go ahead, ask me how I know. Go ahead. Ask me. Ask me how I know.

Very sad. If the kid kept his weight down the reduced strain on his knees might have allowed him to avoid so many injuries. Early in his career when he got on the court he showed some serious game.

Not really. Sean May has had knee injuries through out his entire basketball career. BBD has not had any similar history, plus just from the eye test BBD has a bigger frame than May. His high weight seems more natural.

BBD has gotten in a lot better shape since he started playing big minutes. Hopefully he can keep it up from the bench or where ever he lands.

He's too short, right? I'm hoping we get a little height.

He's similar to Powe/BBD as an undersized 4 in the NBA.

Unguaranteed Vet minimum?  Sure.  Any more, and he is not worth the risk.

But not much better.  And certainly shorter.

Undersized, out of shape, fat guy?  The kid makes Toine look like Mr. Fitness.
