I honestly think if we make 0 trades, we will win the championship next season.

Only if we have a good offseason in other ways - signing key FA and developing our younger players.

Any trade IMO is unnecessary and just crazy.

You wait twenty years to have a championship caliber team(which the C's are as is), and you break it up for exactly what reason? Methinks some bloggers have too much time on their hands and are easily bored ;)

Untouchables IMO-
        KG
        PP
        Rondo
        Leon
        Perk

Tradeables-
Ray or Eddie, Big Baby, and anyone else if the deal was right.

Yes of course. But I am also sure we had a legitimate chance to win it all with last years team if KG had been playing.

I think a lot of people are missing the opportunity that we have if the owners are willing. If they are OK with spending, we can get a lot of talent to extend our window considerably by taking contracts that teams don't want because they would rather rebuild. I'm not talking about bad contracts, but contracts that don't fit the plans of teams.

The Detroit rumor is a great example of this.
TP, agreed.

I'm not sure about the C's, but the storm has certainly started around the league.

Who says you are breaking it up? You can make the team a dynasty with the right calculated moves.

I thought the Detroit trade would have been a disaster.

IMO, Prince is the most overrated player in the league AND Hamilton is regressing at a faster rate than Allen at this point.

I love what Ray Allen brings to this team.  Am I open to trading his expiring contract with someone to get a young talent who will help?   Sure.   I'd be open to offering Allen and Perkins to Phoenix for Stoudamire and Richardson, but for the most part ... I'd rather keep what we have AND try to make an offer for Corey Maggette.

I say Danny's got an itchy finger too. He's so use to making deals, I think he feels like he has to make one. Keep the starting 5 and maybe make a few small trades. We'll be back next year with the same starting line up and we'll knock the Lakers out again. Barring injuries of course.

I'd certainly be happy if we acquired any one of those three, just not if we had to trade a starter in the process.
