The last time the Celtics won an NBA title without the Lakers winning a title the very next season was 1976! How freakin annoying is that? http://www.nba.com/history/finals/champions.html

Good catch.  That IS annoying.  So we haven't made up any ground on them in over 30 years.  I guess we'll just have to do something about that these next to years.  8)
