  • Rondo = Good
Rasheed would cost then much less and help them just as much IMO.

But if you are the Cavs and you may lose Lebron after this season, you do this deal, simply for the #5 pick. Trading garbage for two REALLY good pieces at least ensures the Cavs aren't in the crapper if and when Lebron leaves next year.

Don't kid yourself; if LeBron leaves, the Cavs aren't going to be good for quite some time.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Oh yeah, for sure, but a core of Mo Williams, Jamison, the #5, a big FA signing, Varejao, and, uh, Delonte isn't THAT bad...better than without Jamison anyway...I just mean they are going all the way to the end of the line in the east if they don't do SOMETHING like this...at least they TOTALLY rip a team off in this deal...

if you want to keep lebron, you sign Rasheed and use the expiring contracts to get another good player. If you lose lebron, nothing can help you to keep your fanbase happy, you are screwed.

I cant see why Washington would be considering this.  It would be them basically admitting they made a HUGE mistake last summer, and on top of that theyd be dealing their second best player to the team they HATE most in the NBA.

The Cavs have stood in Washingtons way so much over the past few years, I just cant believe they would aid in Cleveland winning a title, especially after all the bad blood that is really only a year removed.

I know business is business and the NBA is a business, but if I was a Wizards fan and they did this I would completely FLIP!

I don't think this is true. I can't see the Cavs giving up their 2010 opportunities for Jamison.
