Gieco should join the trend of including athletes in their ads, and use Adam Morrison for their next commercial.

"Winning an NBA championship is so easy, a caveman can do it."
TP.  You made it come out of my nose.

Well, Greg Kite has a couple so that only proves that being a good NBA basketball player isn't a prerequisite to getting a ring. You just have to be able to keep the bench warm and carry the stars bags.

What's Morrison's issues? Lack of athleticism - or is it lack of motivation and drive? It looks like JJ at least works at his game...while Adam is waiting to get back home for some Coors Original.

I definitely think his injury set him back...but I didn't think it would set him back this much. He needs to get back to a rebuilding team and get some minutes. EVERYONE projected him as the better of the two (between Redick and him). I don't know that it is officially over for him, but it certainly isn't looking good. I hope he gets another chance- he'll never be a 'star'- and maybe that's his problem...

He got plenty of minutes in Charolette early in his career. He was by most measures the worst player, among those who played major minutes, in the NBA during that span.

Adam Morrison will have a distinguished NBA career - just like Stojko Vrankovic.

And Sasha Vujacic too!!

Maybe Voyachooch can team up with Federer and win the Men's double tournament at Wimbledon coming up in a couple of weeks.

What does Tennis have to do with Vujachick? Plus, Federer is Swiss.

I hate Vujachick. Adam Morrison is a weird man.

I am all for exaggerating, but the 'worst player in the NBA'? He averaged 12 points a game in 06-07 with 3 rebounds and a couple of assists (as a rookie). While I agree he was never fantastic, I don't think he was the WORST. His next year he only played about half the games and half as much time and this last season was a lost cause.

Like I said, he won't be the next Larry Bird, but his career is 'salvageable' if he can work hard, get healthy, and get in shape.

He got 11.8 points per game on 37.6% shooting. His eFG was .422 and his true shooting was .450. He was taking 12 shots a game to get those points. He played 29.8 minutes a game as well. That means per 36 minutes he was shooting more than Ray Allen does for the Celtics. His 12 points came at the cost of terrible efficiency.

His 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.7 turnovers are also rather poor for 30 minutes a game. In particular his rebounding was awful for a SF.

On the defensive end he couldn't guard anyone at all. Adam Morrison was the worst player in the NBA to get major minutes his rookie year, and that is not an exageration.

He was a rookie on a bad team. He could certainly improve to become a marginal bench player for teams, but at this rate he'll be out of the league soon.

I just think that is a pretty direct statement to make. Like I said, he obviously wasn't good, but he was a rookie getting thrown into the mess that was Charlotte. Frankly, I would have rather had Morrison than 'Gerald McGrady' that season...

True he is better than some players who flashed out of the league even faster. Which is why I qualified my statement with, "who played major minutes". There are plenty of worse players but they didn't get 30 minutes a game. Shooting at his level, I'd be surpised if they got more than 5....

It would have been one thing if he was with the team all season, played and practiced through training camp, preseason, etc.  But he got dumped on their roster halfway through the year and did absolutely nothing, so funny to see him get rewarded.

He should have at least pulled a Ricky Gutierrez '04 Red Sox and gone out of his way to get into every camera shot of the bench so people think he is a part of the team.

How PO'd is Vlad Radmanovic right now?
Carl: And, technically, he's supposed to be spayed, and uh, he ain't that. I know that first hand. Go ahead, ask me how I know. Go ahead. Ask me. Ask me how I know.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
He should have taken a lesson from Scal and Pollard last year, with about 3 minutes left the two of them, both suit clad, ran to the locker room and changed into their jerseys and warm-ups. There's always going to be tons of photos and videos, the last thing you want to do is be standing around in a suit with a champions t shirt over it a la Morrison.

Although Larry Bird cites Greg Kite as one of the best teammates he ever had and said he and everyone else benefited from having Kite on the B-Team in practice.

That's high praise from Larry Legend.
