Brown out in Cleveland?
Mike Brown | Cavaliers
The New York Daily News reports there is infighting within the Cavaliers organization after their playoff loss to Orlando and many feel head coach Mike Brown was out-coached by Stan Van Gundy.
Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert is desperate to keep LeBron James and could try to replace Brown with Miami Heat president Pat Riley.

I think they should go after Jeff Van Gundy.  Riley has a propensity to quit on his teams.

Unless they are ready to give Riley the keys to make personal decisions.  He got the Heat together to win the finals.  He would not have the fear to make the big move.

That "Coach of the Year" was a sham, though.  Mike Brown just happened to have the best player in the world on his team.

Doesn't Lebron like him though? If you're trying to please Lebron - I'd be sure to ask him what he thinks.

Do Lebron and Riley have any sort of good standing together to begin with?

Pat Riley isn't leaving Miami.

I can't imagine Danny Ferry firing Mike Brown now. There have been seasons with far better reasons for firing him, why get rid of the guy now? I don't see it.

Has the coach of the year ever been let go before the next season?

Actually, Lebron had issues with how Brown handled the Orlando series (and so did many other people within the organization).  Lebron actually met with Dan Gilbert and talked about Brown.  LBJ wants Brown to stay, he just wanted to make sure Mike knew how he felt as well.  Mike Brown has had to justify how he handled the Orlando series with everyone in the org.  Brown and the Cavs are usiing this as a learning experience and hashing out any issues anyone may have.

All that being said, Mike Brown is not going anywhere.  At least not this year

Listen, the longer Mike Brown stays in Cleveland, the better it is for us.

Why is this?  The guy coaches excellent defense, especially against a team like Boston.  The only offense he hasn't figured out is the team with 2 6'10" players that can hit the three at a 45% clip.

Cleveland's weakness on defense comes at the C and defending the PF from the outside.  Boston can't really exploit those weaknesses.  Garnett does not spread the floor enough.

Mike Brown still went 2-2 against us and has never beaten us in a playoff series.  Does that clear up why I like him right where he is?

What? Garnett spreads it to a 20 foot jumper which is just as effective as Lewis. He also can go into the post more, but Cleveland deals with that pretty well.

Rashard killed them you guys off the dribble more than anything and in the pick and roll. That wasn't a matter of spacing, rather quickness.

Yeah, I hate it when Garnett doesn't spread the floor.   ::)
