Darn it, I just checked the score (forgot the game had started already).  I saw the Sox were up 2-0 and immediately my brain said, "Please let it be Papi"...Yes indeed. 

That's sweet.

Gotta go tune in.

Man, Beckett's been in a groove lately.  His fastball is blazing and he has solid command of his offspeed stuff.  When he has that going and can throw 3 or 4 different pitches at any time, he is nearly unstoppable.

Great start to the series.  Beckett is looking as good as he has since the playoffs in 07.  Papi hit a BOMB.


Wakefield tomorrow night worries me though, doesn't have a good record against the Yanks.  Then again he's going up against Wang.  That game should last about 7 hours.
