we Need Sheed!
Sheed is Key!

grant hill would be nice too, although i was thinking Matt Barnes instead.

i don't mind marbury.

I don't think we can afford to sign BBD, especially if we have a chance at Sheed.

i like this lineup

Rondo/Marbury/House/Pruit
Ray/House/Pierce/Marbury/Tony/Pruit
Pierce/Barnes/Ray/Walker/Tony
Garnett/Powe/Sheed/Barnes/Scal
Perkins/Sheed/Barnes/Garnett/Scal

If we could fit Tim thomas in there some where we might be even stronger

Before I heard those Cavs rumors, I was certain Cavs will do whatever it can to sign this guy. Besides, I prefer the Dyess-man over this loudmouth loser. Hill would be a plus, but would he move to boston. If Marbury wants to comeback, Hell Yah! Bring him back.

Pretty much my thinking down to the letter.  I'll take Ra and either Barnes or Hill.  And I don't mind Marbury.

Isnt lamar Odom a FA this offseason? Would anyone object to the Celts signing him?

No objection. But he would be way too expensive.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

He's not going to be taking a MLE to sign. If he were, sure, i would do it. He's a good player.

I know a lot of people like Grant Hill on this blog, but I'm concerned about him based on his injury history plus age. With 3 veterans aready as the core of our team, who have all battled injuries the last few yrs, I'm hesitant to invest in Hill. Seems very risky, especially when you add in Powe's knee and Perk's shoulder. We don't Scal having to be our 6th man again in the playoffs.

No kidding.  People want to talk about Ray being old, and yet want to sign the Corpse of Grant Hill instead...
God bless and good night!

I'm tired of getting these old players for a year or two.
I want to go after a younger player than can actually develop on our bench for a few years. I know it's a lot to ask for... but please, I dont want to be like the 04 Lakers where star players went to die.

I think you vastly underrate him because he's a laker.

Show me the other PF's who make the MLE or less that have his skill set.

He can Drive the paint, rebound, play defense, shoot from the midrange, shoot from the 3 at times, run the break and handle the rock like a point forward.

His mindset and tendency to not dominate matchups when he should will keep him  out of max contract money, but He's worth way more than the MLE at 5.3 mill per.

I'd say lamar is a 7-8 million dollar player on the open market.

yea, for a LLE deal to fill out the bench, there's a Slight difference
