Oh man. Celtics are getting killed. Hope they make a miracle comeback from being down 24 and win it to take a 3-1 lead and I hope we make Sasha cry on the bench.

Watch Tony Allen's +10 run in only 2:14 late in the 3rd QTR, this was the run that put us right back in the ball game.

TA gets too much criticism on these blogs.  That 2:14 run at the end of the 3rd QTR was our best 2 minutes of the entire year and it gave us the championship.  Here we were down 20 points in the 1st QTR, for 2 full quarters we made small runs but never got closer than 11. So before Pau shoots the 2nd free throw, Powe is running on the sidelines to get into the game, Doc calls him off and puts in TA, Pau misses the free throw and we go on a 10-0 run to finally close the lead to just 2 points.  It was the first time TA even played in the finals. People underestimate that run and how important it was to our season.  Who knows we could have traded baskets in the final 2:14 and not had enought time to win the game in the 4th. This was the difference between 07-08 Celtics & 08-09 Celtics. 11 guys played and contributed in this game and we only played with 8 guys this year and Scalabrine was our 7th guy.  The bench should have played more this year because in the games we lost in the playoffs not only did we lose we played our starters heavy minutes too so its like we lost twice in one game.  Had we played our bench and lost those same games at least we could have had our starters fresher for the home games which were the ones we needed to win since we had homecourt in our 2 series this year.

notice in the final crunch time minutes in the 4th quarter of this game, rondo is nowhere to be found, what a difference a year makes. This year you would have NEVER seen that.

the way that unit was playing you would. That lineup of house, ray, pierce, posey, and KG  played almost perfect basketball at both ends of the court in the 3rd and 4th, you couldn't mess with that lineup at the time, they were rolling.

Well, you could, but it would have been foolish.

This lineup was amazingly efficient! I can't get bored of watching this game over and over again, it was so great... to me it was the greatest game of this Finals (with game 6), and a true fingerprint performance from this Celtics team.

Plus, Rondo was bothered by his bad ankle which got worse in this game if I recall correctly, which also explains his benching in the second half.
