I see a bunch that I like and maybe I missed them but I'll ad two.

Eddie Izzard who I find really funny

Ricky Gervais (from the English version of the office). Saw a cable speacial the other day and he was pretty funny.

I've got a friend who sees comedy like most people see music...and he swears Eddie Izzard is the funniest standup man right now.

I think I would like your friend. If you haven't seen him, i know he's done some cable specials, check him out. I saw him at the Orphium about 6 months ago, very funny.

While it's not really stand up, I find Stephen Lynch to be really funny.

Jim Norton is my favorite.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Jim Norton is my favorite.

He always seems like kinda a tool. Kinda like Doug Stanhope but Stanhope is really funny

In no order, Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Lee Evans and Eddie Murphy were the ones that sprung to mind.

I'd have to say Dave Chappelle. I was always a big fan of his prior to his TV show and find myself being an even bigger fan now. His whole bit about Chip racing and the baby selling crack still have my dying whenever I hear them.

On top of that, he's also a great guy. He lives right near my city here in Dayton, OH and he is a regular fixture at the local Best Buy! Instead of being snobbish or rude, he will speak to anyone that approaches him. All in all, just a great guy.
Carl: And, technically, he's supposed to be spayed, and uh, he ain't that. I know that first hand. Go ahead, ask me how I know. Go ahead. Ask me. Ask me how I know.

on a side note, tosh .0 is a pretty decent laugh for what it is.

IT's pretty much the soup for youtube.

George Carlin has always been my favorite. There's George Carlin, and then there's the rest.

Greg Giraldo I really like too. When younger I really liked Gallagher. I always enjoy when Martin Lawrence does a standup. Back in the day Eddie Murphy I enjoyed quite a bit.

Ah, and Russel Peters, almost forgot him.

I thought it was hilarious. Daniel Tosh is funny by himself though.
