Post your preferred Celtics roster.  This thread should consist of names only.  Don't explain how you got the players you've listed.  And don't respond to the lineups of others.  You can be serious or you can lean towards wild, funny and creative with your lineup.  Again, this thread should consist of player's names and nothing else.  There are two deadlines.  The first in midnight June 24th, the day before the draft.  The second deadline is midnight June 30th, which gives you a chance to make another post after the draft (in case the Celtics get involved in the draft).  So for this thread you get to make 2 posts and 2 posts only, each one consisting of a Celtics roster with up to 15 players.

I think letting the names speak for themselves for a change will be a refreshing step back from our usual nitpicking and naysaying of each other (the general mayhem of fine tuning our beloved Celtics.)

1 post before June 24 midnight and 1 post before June 30th midnight.  Then, as we get ready to start the season next fall, we'll take a look back at this thread and see if any of the posts get close to matching the Celtics actual roster.  I'm sure whoever comes closest will get a boatload of Tommy Points.

Sorry, I'm not ready to post my first lineup.  I need to think on it a bit first.  Fire away.

Forgot to mention:  After the deadline for your second lineup has passed, the thread could then switch to discussion of the lineups people posted.  At that point linups should no longer be posted if possible, just discussion.

“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
- Vandana Shiva
