I'd watch for it more in LA than CLE...lebron gets calls no matter where he is, but people act weird in front of celebrities.

Normally I would really think that the NBA would do everything in its power to give those teams some home cooking calls in game 5. But that would be crazy suspicious on back to back nights.

The Cavs are on the ropes.... so it might be a long shot for Stern to save them...

I think the Lakers will get the serious home cooking. No team brings in the $$ like LAL.

LA vs Cle would be big money. So would LA vs Orl...

Denver vs either Cle or Orl would pale financially.

If the away teams win both in well officiated games, will we still see posts like these?

No idea where anyone would get the idea of officials calling it different for the home team. WE know that each game is called right down the middle :P

interesting... as far as homerism goes, tonights lineup is rather neutral. Awesome!!

R. Garretson 54/61
M. McCutchen 27/61
T. Washington 15/61

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's lineup card.

I have no idea how McCutchen is so highly regarded by the NBA that he's getting crew chief nominations for the Conference Finals.

He's not homeristic at all; if everything, he makes a point of not playing to the home crowd. But he's very inconsistent and can put together long strings of bad calls at any point.

I think I'll bet all my worldly possessions on Dick Bavetta, Joey Crawford, and Bill Kennedy for Cavs/Magic Game 5.  Howard fouls out early in the 4th quarter and gets the two technicals he needs to be suspended for Game 6.  Lebron, after shooting between 20-35 free throws in the game, still has to hit a bailout 3 with 3 guys on him with 2 seconds left.  It goes in, and ESPN explodes.

Are you saying this so it will hurt less if it actually happens?
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Some of it is hyperbole, but I think at least 2 of those three refs will be in the game, and that Lebron shoots between 20 and 35 free throws.  I think Orlando wins Game 5, though.

None of those refs did the game but LeBron did have 19 FTs so TP to you.
