All that showboating, chalk tossing, pre-game intro messing around. If he doesn't win a championship he is  going to look like a fool.

Bearing in mind that he is on the brink of elimination it doesn't look good for him.

I will sell my house if Dick Bavetta isn't the ref crew chief for game 5 and Le Bron doesn't get some ridiculous calls.

Stern's dream matchup is disappearing before his eyes, hes gonna try and hand them a few games.

I hope and pray that all of lebron's showboating comes back to haunt him and Stern lets em play out there.

I'm with you guys.  I would lvoe to see both these guy lose and have a Denver-Orlando Final.

I think that would be a more interesting series anyway.

"Well we made a couple of key trades . . . and we got The Funk."

I really like the way denver plays with billups at the point. They went from a all offense, no defense team to a tough gritty team that works inside out and plays good, if not great, defense.

I'm all for a denver vs. orlando/cavs final with denver taking it.

I think the mjority of us on these boards would love to see a Nuggets-Magic Finals for three main reasons

1. It makes the Celtics sans KG look good for taking the magic to 7 games while the cavs are a lucky buzzer beater away from being swept

2. We hate Le Bron and his showboating antics

3. We hate anything Purple and Gold

A Nuggets-Magic finals would be good for the NBA, ratings may be down slightly but you have the emergence of Carmelo and Dwight as NBA superstars. I think it would be a good thing long term for the NBA.

I'm sure Lebron won't feel foolish cashing his pay checks.

Certainly could be heading in the same direction as that Dan vs. Dave debacle from the '92 Olympics.

He's been doing that since his first year, I doubt he'll feel foolish if his team gets eliminated.

KG does the same kind of crazy stuff in his intro's, did he feel foolish for 12 years before winning one?

lebron understands that the NBA is entertainment. We hate it because we're not cavs fans, just like opposing fans hate Kevins and paul's antics.

EDIT: ment paul, ray has no antics to get uptight about, except draining a three in your face and calmly getting back on defense  ;D

That was the best, and it's nice to see that all these marketing experts learned nothing from it too, way to count your chickens before they're hatched.

Lebron is not the fool, Danny Ferry and the suporting cast on the Cavs are the fools.  And I will be the first to tell you I thought the Cavs would beat the Magic, but this series has played out like the last three seasons between these teams so it really shouldn't surprise anyone.

And even though I believed the Cavs were the best team at the trade deadline, I couldn't believe Ferry didn't move Wally to upgrade their roster. It just didn't make sense.  It would have been one thing if Wally was still in the major rotation, but he wasn't then and certainly isn't now, so what good is he.  They were fairly close with the Suns for Shaq (Cavs wanted the Suns to take Wallace, while the Suns wanted Wally), and while he is way past his prime, Shaq would definately be helping the Cavs in this series.

Not a fan of Shaq, how about Tyson Chandler?  He was on the block, Wally plus a young player would have probably been enough.

When you have a valuable trade chip like Wally, you have to move him when you are a championship contending team.

LeBron might feel like a fool for expecting to get every call in the last few minutes of regulation and overtime, but having it back fire. If he just played ball during that time instead of seeking out fouls, they probably would have been fine.

Anyways - CLE has the right type of talent around James, just not the right quality. Additionally their head coach appears worthless.

I think the entire Cadets' team is too deferential to LeBomb.  None of them wanted any part of a key shot attempt down the stretch.  So it all fell on James to create something for himself.  This is how it is in every close game for them.

I think the team is actually a victim of his dominance in these situations.  Because his teammates figure that he's so amazing, that he has a way better chance of scoring a clutch basket than they do.  So they don't even want to try.  If they end up with the ball at the end of the shot clock, they'll chuck it up.  But they're probably not confident about making it.  They just wish LeBomb could've shot it instead.

I think they'll continue to struggle this way until the team gets a legitimate number 2.  Williams is a fine point guard.  But he doesn't look like a bona fide "Goose" to James' "Maverick".  You know what I'm sayin'?  It's similar to Jordan's early Bulls, which couldn't get over the hump until Pippen fully emerged as his Tonto.

I think they hoped Larry Hughes could be that guy.  He wasn't.  Drew Gooden.  Nope.  Wally Szczerbiak?  God no.  Mo' Williams, eh, probably not.  So until they either trade or draft another alpha dog, I think Bron-Bron will struggle to get his hands on the trophy.  The team just needs one more powerful ego to balance things out.

Lol i thought the same thing.   They must be ticked they spent all that money to cash in on Bron/Kobe when it's looking unlikely Kobe will win his championship against Bron.
