Sure he's old often injured but if he could stay healthy he would be the perfect complementary player. Is there any possibility outside of trading one of our big 3 or the clippers buying him out for us to get him.

No.  Unless you want to send players like Rondo and Perkins.

Marcus Camby isn't that good. Yes, he fill up a stat sheet, but his individual one on one D leaves much to be desired. And his offensive game is actually quite brutal. He's one of the biggest frauds in the NBA in my opinion. He's almost like Antoine in the sense that even when he's considered a "good" player, you know the stats he's putting up are largely inflated and not indicative of exceptional basketball performance.

Anyhow, I'd give up Scal, Tony, Walker, and Giddens. I'm not sure if we'd have to add about $2-$3 MIL in cash, but that's the farthest I'd be willing to go to make a Camby to Boston scenario pan out.

seems to me the clippers would want to dump salary if they had any sense.   Scal+tony+eddie+pruitt+walker (all expiring) would get it done.  Make them throw in the #1 pick and maybe we consider doing them a favor.

The Clippers are a dumb franchise. The chances of them doing the smart thing here are about 25-75.

They should trade Camby for other expiring contracts + prospects/draft picks.

If they do get there heads screwed on straight, and they do this like they should, the Celtics will easily be out-bid in the process (other teams will offer same expiring contracts but better prospects or draft picks unless Boston gives up 2-3 first rounders). I don't think the C's can get him.
