Rasheed Wallace is the best free agent big man out there.  There is no close second. He can probably get more than the MLE if he wants it, but not if he wants another ring.

Who knows?  Probably Sheed himself doesn't know yet where he'd like to play.  Tell Garnett and Pierce to put their recruiting hats on.

I bet James Posey is avalable.  In fact, I bet you could get him for Scalabrine and Tony Allen (both expiring).

I think you're right on that, but I don't think ownership has any intent to bring him back.  I hope the Kings but Nocioni on the block for a similar offer.

I hoped hes talking about the Birdman " Chris andersen". This guy has the energy to match KG's, block shots, rebound n defend. Then sign big baby for the offense.

Perk/Birdman
KG/Big Baby
Pierce/trade scal n TA for somebody/walker
Ray/House/Jr
Rondo/Marbury/Pruitt

Sign a rookie n Powe for the last 2 spots

The thing is that...I fully expect Birdman to be part of the 2009 NBA champions ;) It would be tough to steal him from his team under these circumstances :P

come on Denver, beat those fakerzz!

Chuckle.

I agree. I'll be happy if a 3 with more intelligence than Tony Allen and a jump shot is added. I'm not demanding a formal admission from ownership that they screwed up last summer. That would be a shocker.

If we do end up getting a really competent big man like Sheed or Dice, it could potentially also help us at the 3 position, as we could slide KG down to the 3 at for different matchups.

I don't recall anyone really saying a "competent" big.

So, he could be talking about Robert Swift.

Could be him.  I was just wishfully thinking.

KG at the 3?  I doubt it.

I think he's talking about Dice.
Dice doesn't help our length problem though. He'd just end up being a cheap BBD replacement.

McDyess is a much better rebounder than BBD. He also is a legit 6' 9".

I have to agree with, Marqui, Dice doesn't solve our height/length problem. At 6'9 McDyess is still an undersized PF. Not to mention, Sheed is more in line with Danny's go for the homer mentality. Remember if it were up to him we would've had Reggie instead of Posey. Sheed with his height, 3pt shooting ability, all-star credential, and championship experience fills a boatload of needs we're trying to fill.
