I think it's a nonsense rumour. No way are the Clippers unable to trade Baron Davis, nevermind having to couple him with an asset like the #1 pick.

Maybe they want someone other than Griffin but don't want to pay them #1 overall money, If a team is also at the top why not drop a spot, get rid of alot of cap space, then save even more money by getting your guy a few slots down.

I have to agree after reading about their situation more. Now I think to move Zach Randolph they'd have to include something that valuable lol.
