I was wondering what people thought about Walter Herrmann as a cheaper option for the backup sf spot. His stats aren't really impressive other than his first year where he averaged 9.2 points on 46% 3 point shooting. He is 6'9" with 3 point range, but isn't a great defender. If we spend the MLE for a big, would he be a good option for the min or LLE?

As a 10th man, sure, but he is a TERRIBLE defender.  If you are asking him to be any more than a designated shooter, then you are in trouble.
