Resign Powe for two years at the minimum, take Pruitt's option at $700k.

Send Scalabrine and Tony Allen to the Knicks for Jared Jeffries and a 2010 second rounder. A poor man's Posey.

Sign one of Nesterovic, Gortat or Pachulia - in that order - for 2-3 years at $4 million per year.

Sign one of Grant Hill, Anthony Parker or Matt Barnes - in that order - for 2 years at $1.5 million per year (remainder of the MLE).

Rondo / House / Pruitt
Allen / Parker / Giddens
Pierce / Walker
Garnett / Jeffries / Powe
Perkins / Nesterovic

House is not a PG, but Parker and Pierce can take the ball up when he is in the game. I expect Walker to break through next season, but Parker and Jeffries can back up the three if he does not - plus an early second ronuder in 2010 could be interesting. Finally, we still have the LLE to sign someone for the playoff run in case of injury.

Please continue to count me in the Trade Ray Allen camp if an enticing situation comes up...
"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

I love it! Rasho is very servicable and very underrated (IMO) and I'd imagine Larry Legend wants to give his rookies more time to run/breathing room.

There's just something I don't like about Jared Jeffries though.
