I feel he has what it takes to give us some backup pg and sg minutes and is cheap.  he plays good d, better than marbury or house (love ya eddie) ever could.
He adds height at pg and has the stroke but didn't hit it consistantly this year.  Remember his rookie year, beautiful jumper but nothing else.  Now his d is his highlight.
keep him
move ta and giddens instead

I don't think Gabe is a PG at this point in his career.  The only way I think he would be worth taking up a roster spot is if they end up trading House (as an expiring contract), and they need someone to fill the role as 3rd string PG/designated shooter off the bench.  If House is still on this team, I see no need for this team to have Pruitt, since they NEED to have a better backup PG, and House is the 3rd string.

We need to ditch him, switch him, or play him. We just can't have a hand full of guys who just sit on the bench all year. Rondo is young but not invincible, he broke down too without a backup we were willing to use.

I know it's hard to get any rhythm just playing in garbage time, but he's hitting 32% from the floor in his career.  That's worse that Orien Greene!  His last two years at USC, he hit 41% and 42%.  Whenever he shoots, it *looks* like it's going in, but at some point he's got to find the bottom of the net.

This summer is *huge* for Gabe, he needs to really stand out in Summer League; he doesn't need to be MVP, but he needs to be one of the dominant players.  Europe and the D-League are filled with guys like Pruitt, decent players overall but without enough skill to stick in the League; given that his contract would be the easiest to eat and the least useful in a trade, he'll be the first one to get cut unless he really gives them a reason to stick around.

I don't want to spend much money on this guy. Considering the luxury tax hit, I don't see him being around unless it is under a new, cheaper deal
