As someone who has watched A LOT of Knick's games. Please dear sweet baby jesus, keep Crawford away.

He takes more shots than Gordon but he only makes then every 4th game.

Didn't SI run a stat where he had the worst winning percentage in the history of the NBA or something like that?

He's a talented guy, good shooter.  He's just not a winner.  I want good solid basketball players coming off the bench, not flashes in the pan like Crawford.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

You can say the same thing for a lot of good players that are just not winners. Paul Pierce was not a winner he made the playoffs a couple times but he was never a winner. The guy can flat out score.

PLease don't compare Pierce with Crawford. That's like comparing Pierce with R Davis.

How could you not call Pierce a winner? Before last year's championship he had been to the ECF and made the playoffs with regularity.  Jamal Crawford currently holds the longest streak of an active player without a playoff experience.  That means that teams with Crawford on them don't win becaus.e he takes away from the team

I am not comparing Pierce with Crawford by any means. A winner in this league is winning a championship. Granted Pierce made the playoffs and all that but only one ECF appearance until last year. Karl Malone is known as a born loser because he never won a ring. Same with KG he was a loser that couldn't get out of the first round, along with T-Mac. I am just saying you put a player on the right team and he becomes a winner

Dang guys..kinda being hard to jamal.....but I understand were u guys come from...but lets look at this from a good point a view...
Jamal is a deadly scorer...he has taken bad shots...but many players...have. We they are main scorers ona teams....key example.....marbury....so give jamal tha benefit of da dought...and imagine if he..got into tha system...commited to defense....dats a strong scorer off da bench...a great sixth man...who can come inda game and get 15 e z....within our system......

I would be interested in him if GS does something stupid like buying him out.  He would work well with House with his ability to help run the offense.

He doesn't need to be bought out if he opts out.  I don't think there is much chance of it happening, but I know I read somewhere that he was actually considering it.

I agree that he will not opt out. Since his is a 2 year option, this means that i think there's no way he gets bought out.

However, what's interesting is that if Golden State really just wants his salary gone, a deal of Scal, Tony and House for crawford works under the cap, as does a deal of Scal, Tony, Giddens, and Pruitt for Crawford.

I don't think his agent will let him.  (if he has a good agent)
