they should have to win the lottery to keep this franchise. they are the last team i want to see win it because whoever goes there (even if it's griffen) don't you just know the clips will ruin that player? either that or he'll just waste the first few years underachieving cuz the team has no direction. i wonder what it's like to pull on that clipper uniform each night. i mean, these guys are proud to be the best players in trhe world and all but i wonder if they just look down at "clippers" and just sigh and shake their heads. can they at least just change the name? their history is almost all bad. they still talk about the danny manning year for crying out loud.

On the other hand the Staples Center had been rockin for 4-5 years during the Elton Brand era. Heck even during the Darius Miles, Q Richardson, Odom years the place was hopping.

They had a good thing going, until Brand when down for a year, and then flew the coop. Mike Dunleavy really needs to go...

Actually, if the Clippers landed the #1 pick (Griffen), I'd push hard to trade some combination of expiring contracts, cash, and a pick for Marcus Camby.

The Clips would still have Griffen, Randolph, Kaman, and Jordan as their primary bigs.

Part of the fun of the draft is too see the log jams form... more players become available.

Well, there you are.  The #1 pick.  I feel for Blake Griffin.

What do the clippers do with 4 starting PFs now?

Can we trade for Kaman or Camby?

I hope so :) ..we have the salaries to match... perhaps the Clippers want to shed salary in exchange for a pick?

My thoughts exactly. On the other hand, we´re talking about the freaking Clippers. Who knows for sure what they´ll do on Draft Night?
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Jeez ... any ideas at what teams may be willing to take Zach Randolph off the Clippers hands?

That looks an ugly situation right now. At least Kaman and Camby are easily tradeable, so they can pick and choose there.

So is Memphis a lock to take Rubio?   What's that mean to Conley?

PG - conley
SG - Mayo
SF - Gay
PF - Warrick/Arthur?
C - Gasol...

They gonna take Rubio and bench conley eventually?

How about the Thunder?  Thabeet a lock at #3?  A big man who blocks shots.  Isn't that why they wanted Tyson Chandler?

PG - Westbrook
SG - Thabo
SF - Durant
PF - Jeff Green
C - Thabeet?

Call em The Thunder Thab 5.

Lord. Blake Griffin's career is dead before it starts.

Sigh. I can almost read the posts here already trumpeting Swift's "low risk, high upside" and "tremendous value."

Here we go again.

Thabet would like nice in OKC. That's actually a nice, young line-up.

Poor Blake Griffin. Then again its the Clippers, they may accidently draft Peter Griffin.
