unrestricted free agent. has shown potential. decent scoring threat (coach KG can really develop his low post game).  Any takers?

Sure. I like him. But I'd rather have Davis since he knows the system, and we don't have to wait for Dallas to match.

to clear one thing up im assuming that BBD is on the roster next year and Bass would be the replacement if necessary for Leon.  Personally Im all for Leon coming back but who knows what Danny is thinking.  Bass would fill Leon's role similarly.  Good offensive threat not a terrible rebounder.  The one thing I wish I had more info on was his defensive attributes.  Anyone know what we can expect out of Bass defensively against someone such as Rashard Lewis.

He's a pretty ok defender...and could be better once he gets into tha celtics system...cause u kno players get better n our system... defensively....but technacally he would be leons replacement..which is str8 but ...we should then replace scal with leon...cause leon has to heal from his surgery...but...bas doesn't solve our back up center...so if we could get a replacement for mikki then we have a nice PF...even tho we will have three under sized pf...it would be all fine...if we have a legit center....6"11 or up....then have a 6"7 -6"9 small forward...we will no longer have size issues

We need to get a backup center first. The 6-7, 6-8 PFs are a dime a dozen. We've got 2 already (if we resign Davis/Powe)! Plus Scal plays small.

I agree we do need a center first hands down...but I would still wanna replace scal with bass...ina heartbeat...cause even tho scal is our fav mascot....we really could use bass betta over him. Who can shoot...not three but mids...and is way way way more athletic than him...and powe and davis.....so having our bigs being
Powe davis and bass...
Dat would be a competetive and skilled pf bench....

totally agree..not to mention bass would provide us with a guy who can cover Rashard in next years playoffs (we all know we havent seen the last of them).  Rashard was one of our biggest problems in the Magic series we had a ton of trouble keeping him from getting to the paint.  Bass is way more athletic and I would assume would be a much better fit to guard him than Davis or Scal was (valiant effort by both guys but simply wasnt enough).

In regards to attacking the gap we have at center I personally think we need to go defense first in that position.  Pick out a guy whose head is constantly in the game and stays focused on the defensive end.  By no means do we need a backup cetner who can score we got plenty of those.  Not even in need of a shot blocker just a shot changer.

Yes..I would love a center strictly devoted to defense...as long as
he has some size...6"11 and up..
He has weight..not no mikki moore skinny...frail
He was athletsim....which would be great...we can have a opposite center of perkins.a highflying shot blocker.

Well, hopefully KG will be back to guard (shut down) Rashard next post season.  Otherwise, we still will have very little chance at a championship.
