None of this means we have more money to spend on free agents. We are over the cap, so we have the MLE, which can be given to one free agent or split up among several.

If Korver opts out, then we'd have to sign him with MLE funds. Sheed has been quoted as saying he wants a contract starting at $8 mil a year, so there is no way to get both Sheed and Korver with the MLE.
