I'm very disappointed at the beat down we experienced tonight. One team got hot and could not miss and one team could do nothing right on either end and basically were handed their walking papers.

One man with "no vested interest" in the mental midgets basketball team was smiling. That would be our commisioner.

The referees did their part early by making calls against us to help Orlando get kick started. In reality, we did not have the talent to compete and Danny Ainge must come up huge this summer if we are to get back in THE GAME. KG must come back 100%. PP must work harder than he ever has. Rondo must work on his shot. Perkins and Davis must work on their low post game. We need Bill Walker, JR Giddens, a backup PG (Marbury is not the answer), and a FA big man (McDyess) and a veteran SF (Marion) to fill out the team. The ownership will have to step up to the plate and not squander the veterans last real chance at a title.

Good for the mental midgets knocking off a crippled team. They will lose 4 straight to Cleveland on a mission to win the 2009 championship. I promise that.

These mental midgets are physical giants.  Would have helped to have had a backup taller than 6'7" not named Mikki.

If you get spanked by "mental midgets" what does that say about your team?  Face it the C's were kept in the game in the first half by free throws.  Howard and Turkolu both had 3 fouls before half-time.  It was the Celtics most of this series crying for the refs to bail them out and flopping like pathetic fish.  And if you think Clevland will win the next series 4-0 just check their record against the Magic during the season.  This Magic team played awesome all year despite the injury to all-star point guard Jamer Nelson.  That includes sweeping both the San Antonio and the Lakers 2-0.  So Homey you can dis the Magic all you want and live in your little Boston hype, glory days dream world and watch them go all the way to the finals.

Looking forward to you posting here after the Magic get defeated in 5 games max by the Cavs.

  • Rondo = Good
The Magic were the better team tonight, and frankly they should have beaten us in 5 games if they could just play with consistent intensity.

Like the poster above me said, they also had a good record against the best teams in the league this season, something the Celtics did not really have, even with KG.

So the Magics by all rights should be able to give Cleveland a good series and perhaps even go to the Finals.  It all will depend on if they can continue playing well.  This series showed that the Magic are probably their own greatest opponents (the Lakers have the same problem).
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Odd that someone who roots for a team that has never won a Finals game would be talking about a 17-time champion living in a "glory days dream world".  Enjoy raising the "Eastern Conference Finalist" banner next November.
