This Celtics squad was a sorry excuse for a team defending their title.

Paul Pierce and Ray Allen let us all down, they were downright horrible.

KG's injury might as well be career ending.

Glen Davis will more than likely walk in free agency.

This team is running on fumes and is too old.  The window is closed.

Here's what the Celtics need to do.

They need to trade Ray Allen for an expiring contract as soon as possible.  He may be one of the best and most clutch shooters in the game today, but he's gonna be like what?  33? We need cap space.

Then I think we should seriously consider trading K.G. to a young contender and see if we can get some draft picks and maybe a good young player out of it.  He's never going to be the same following this injury.

Doc needs to be fired.  The only reason he one the first title was because of P.J. Brown and James Posey.

Clearly, the window is closed for this team.  Get prepared, because hell is coming.  What Celtics team dare finish with a second round exit?

---------------------------------

Now this was obviously all a joke, but I wanted to post something like this before anybody seriously posted it (and it does and will happen).

But consider this thread an anger management thread (not a knee jerk thread though).  If there's one thing you're really p---ed about, let it out now.

Myself, I was distraught.  But this team played well.  They never backed down, and they really had some great moments down the stretch.  Looking to next year, we really need a three that can guard (hopefully Bill Walker matures and improves over the summer).  I think signing Big Baby needs to be the #1 priority though.  And I'd like to see the Celtics pick up a developmental big with great size by purchasing a pick in the draft.

Until then, stay cool.  But if you need to, vent right here.

I think we did pretty good... ???
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Lol.

I love reading over reactions. Especially when they're seriously.

And you're just like, "Really?  Is he serious?"

My bad, I stopped reading midway through, should`ve read the whole thing.  ;)

You're right that people will overreact, but this loss and the post-season as a whole was fairly troubling in a lot of ways.

It is very disconcerting going forward from this game that it seemed like there wasn't a single game when both Ray and Paul had a good game, and I can't help but wonder who will have the season ending injury out of the Big 3 next year.

Are we really going to have another season with the Big 3 all healthy going into the post-season, old as they are and as reluctant as Doc is to play the bench even during the regular season?
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

"I know you all wanna win, but you gotta do it TOGETHER!"
