The NBA title is an endurance contest. Doc should have played our bench...earlier in the series. Then we have something left tonight.

Think of all the games where this team refused to take a hint from the refs, where they wouldn't give up. We wasted too much hustle on the nights we were getting jobbed. We should have had bench guys log big minutes those nights.

Was the right answer really to have given up? In today's NBA the answer looks like yes.

Look at the Lakers, they sensed the NBA wanted to create a 7 game series so they didn't even try in game 6. Meanwhile we fought our guts out. Then today they came in ready to kick ass and we had nothing left.

Thank you Doc should have played our bench, earlier in the series.  That is all I am saying. Wasn't looking for the Holy Grail here at least I finally found someone who agrees.

All I was asking for is 8 minutes from 2 of 4 guys on the bench that didn't play. not 48 minutes from Mikki.

We should have played the bench more so that we could have been swept, and I could have been refunded for games not played.

When is the playoffs ever about 'play more bench'? The problem was the overtimes. The bigger problem was no KG. I won't include the Powe injury since it is hard to expect a team without injuries, though LA, Clev, and Den are extremely healthy for the playoffs, and Orl traded for a replacement for their one injured contributor.

Bench brings energy, and gives starters rest and fresher legs. Its not that complicated.

Agree, I don't like it when people don't have faith in your own team. Yes I know Mikki isn't Wilt, but I do believe he could outplay Gortat for 7 minutes, and TA could get a steal from AJ. Not asking for a gazillion bailout from the government here

Why do you think Mikki could outplay Gortat? Gortat is a better player.

because in 7 minutes a play there's a chance.  Its a better gamble, then going 40+ minutes with starters.  With no KG we had to gamble.  We couldn't just sit there and expect to win, we had to shake it up. It was our only option.  Yes Gortat is better than Mikki, doesn't mean he couldn't produce more than him in 7 minutes, that is all I was asking for.  He's not Wilt, he's Gortat.

I know our bench was weak and I know we need a new bench.  However, you never ever ever ever win by not having faith in your entire team.

Our best game this year was when we beat Cavs without KG in Boston. It seemed like everyone was contibuting, we just got Star and Mikki and it seems like we had enough guys to get it done. Then Doc stops playing TA and Mikki, with no Walker or Pruitt. You can't judge a guy by 3 minutes, you have to keep playing them 8-10 a game, especially in the playoffs, it was our only chance.

No, it isn't.  Not with this bench.

Gortat is indeed head and shoulders above Mikki, among other issues.  And that may be a vast understatement of Gortat's abilities.

I'm fine with going with the folks who brought you to the dance.  They just didn't get it done tonight.  So it goes.

I'm not. I would rather have lost with TA's & Mikki's 8 minutes each.

I think Doc failed to utilize Mikki Moore's fouls throughout the whole series, not just one game.

At the very least you can kinda salvage or protect Big Baby with using Mikki's 6 fouls.
