Sorry. Very proud of the fact that we made it this far without KG or Powe, but the effort put on tonight was terrible.  They shot the lights out, yes, but from the first play, these guys looked like they never played together before.  Defense was out of whack with bad switches everywhere.  Offense was discombobulated and everyone looked like they were out of sync.  Almost seems like they were in shock from having 2 days of rest.

Jump on me all you want.  Again, VERY proud of how far we made it with only 8 guys that are playable, but tonight was awful and its gonna kill me all offseason.  Get KG to surgery tomorrow.

its funny if they lost a close game I think I'd be more dissapointed - this one sunk in with about 6 to go in the 4th

the Magic beat us tonight, no ifs and or buts about it - but we'll be back next year at full strength

We gave it away from bad defense, overused tired players, poor subbing methods, and letting the magic get 3 unguarded 3 point shots. This series was completely winnable.

This loss brings back memories of the 2005 playoffs. Such a disapointing way to end a 7 game series.

Well for one, we were up 3-2. Only needed one more win. Choked at the end of game 6. Had a home game 7, played awful defense.

Need I elaborate more?

Don't mean to quibble because I'm very proud of our team . . . but what about the Rockets?  Pretty stunning that they took the Fakers to 7.  I think that what they did was also impressive.  What the Rockets didn't do is fight through the end of the regular season and TWO series without their team intact.*  I think that the accumulated wear finally got to us. 

* Does McGrady even count as a Rocket anymore?

I too am awful proud of this team and how far they got without KG and Powe and with just all the injuries they had. As proud as any Celtics team I've watched.

But as the topic states, I'm thoroughly digusted as well.

Dwight Hoard, three fouls to START the second half. We decide to actually attack him with oh....8 minutes left in the fourth quarter when Pierce finally decided to go to the hole. Lo and behold...Howard gets two quick ones.

By that time the game was over though anyway. I jsut couldn't beleive we waited some 15 minutes to attack Howard. Just everyone taking it to him alone would've have been enough to win the game had it been done from minute one of the second half.

This and just a complete lack of effort and lackluster performanc. Pierce looked like he was a slug.

I do realise that these guys are complete toast because a number of reasons and they certianly deserve to be.

HOWEVER...I'd like to think that these premierce athletes, even being exhausted, could focus in and put together 48 minutes of intensity within a five day period. From their loss Thursday night to their next potential game on Wednesday is 5, nearly 6 days. We needed 48 minutes of intensity within that 5-6 day span and we didn't bring it.

Not disgusted. I've seen this day coming since July, and it was confirmed around March 1 when it was apparent Garnett wasn't coming back quickly and our team's attention span began to waver.

Just worried. Worried about Garnett. Worried about management's willingness to commit the resources to winning a title. They weren't willing this season.
