Hi Everyone,
Just a quick shout out to Celtics fans -- on Saturday I get my PhD from UC Berkeley.  I am very pumped about this, and a number of family members (all Celtics fans) will be present.  Just thought I would share with my other family -- my C's family.  Cheers everyone!
-Cman.

Celtics fan for life.

TP Doc :)  The C's had been playing every other day and I was wondering why they weren't playing Saturday. Super considerate of the NBA to move the C's game back a day for you and your fam ;)

Congrats!  That's a huge accomplishment.  What field are you in?

TP, and welcome to the club, brother.  I defended in fall of '06 and got hooded from the University of Michigan in spring of '07.

I spent a summer interning at Berkley, but it was probably before your time as it was back in...wow, it was back in '97.  I'm getting old, Jack.  I stayed in the I-House, and it was one of the best summers of my life.  Always have a soft spot in my heart for Berkley.

Congrats! I'm sure if feels great to reap the rewards of all your hard work.
Most importantly you're now eligible for a membership to Rick Pitino's "poor, hungry, and driven" club. Remember that jazz he used to sell around here? Now go hook yourself up to some IV's and do wind sprints until you fall over  :)
